Meet Andrew
Andrew Castillo is our Community Outing Coordinator and Safety Instructor. He graduated in 2015 with a Bachelor's in Fine Arts from Central Connecticut State University and is currently pursuing a Master's in Art Therapy & Counseling at Albertus Magnus College.
Before joining the Strong Foundations family, Andrew has had years of experience working with children. He has been a volunteer leader at summer camps for ten consecutive years. He has worked within the Hartford Public Schools Art Education department, helping to organize events such as The Hartford Youth Art Renaissance.
During his time with Strong Foundations, he has worked in multiple facets. He is supporting its growth through the organization of Team Building activities, Community Outing events for enrolled students, as well as the development of company-wide protocols and training used by all Strong Foundations families and staff.
Outside of work, Andrew loves to work on his art and try bizarre foods. He is known for his creativity and doting care for Strong Foundations pet bearded dragon, Mushu.
