ABA Therapist / Behavior Technician (RBT)
Part-time and Full-time
Responsibilities:
- Proving ABA services to children with autism and related disorders
- Implementation of Behavior Plans and Strategies
- Implementation of Discrete Trial Training and individualized programming including: social skills, daily living/ self-help skills and communication skills
- Graphing and maintaining daily data collection
- Knowledge of PECS and ABA standards is preferred
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel
- Center-based ABA services
- Part-Time position
- After-school hours and weekends
Requirements:
- 1 year experience working with children 2 - 12 years old with autism or related disorders in an ABA Program is preferred
- Associate’s Degree; Bachelor’s Degree is preferred
- Dedicated to improving the overall quality of life for children affected by autism
- Takes initiative and comfortable working in a 1:1 setting
- Punctual, effective communication, and reliable
- Strong organizational skills with good attention to detail
- Maintains professionalism with children and staff
- Accurate data collection while conducting sessions
