Part-time and Full-time
Responsibilities:
- Development of individualized treatment plans for individuals diagnosed with autism.
- Development of programming and services based on the principles of ABA, including behavior intervention plans, social skills, functional communication training, and daily living skills.
- Conducting functional behavior assessments and skill assessments.
- Services are provided in a variety of settings including: natural context of the child’s home, school, center-based and/or other community settings.
- Supervisions of ABA therapists on assigned caseloads to ensure fidelity and consistency in the implementation of programming.
- Training to parents, ABA therapists and / or RBTs
- Providing 1-on-1 services to individuals as needed
- BCBA will report directly to the Clinical Director
Requirements:
- BCBA certification
- Licensed Behavior Analyst in CT
- Masters Degree in related field
- Strength in the application of ABA techniques
- Strong communication with parents and staff in explaining ABA techniques
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Dedicated, with strong time management skills
- Pays close attention to detail and is punctual
- A natural leader with the ability to think outside of the box
- Experience working within the home setting / public school setting: 2 years
