Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)

Part-time and Full-time

Responsibilities:

  • Development of individualized treatment plans for individuals diagnosed with autism.
  • Development of programming and services based on the principles of ABA, including behavior intervention plans, social skills, functional communication training, and daily living skills.
  • Conducting functional behavior assessments and skill assessments.
  • Services are provided in a variety of settings including: natural context of the child’s home, school, center-based and/or other community settings.
  • Supervisions of ABA therapists on assigned caseloads to ensure fidelity and consistency in the implementation of programming.
  • Training to parents, ABA therapists and / or RBTs
  • Providing 1-on-1 services to individuals as needed
  • BCBA will report directly to the Clinical Director

Requirements:

  • BCBA certification
  • Licensed Behavior Analyst in CT
  • Masters Degree in related field
  • Strength in the application of ABA techniques
  • Strong communication with parents and staff in explaining ABA techniques
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Dedicated, with strong time management skills
  • Pays close attention to detail and is punctual
  • A natural leader with the ability to think outside of the box
  • Experience working within the home setting / public school setting: 2 years
