Meet Emily
Emily Murray MS., BCBA, LBA received her Master of Science in Autism and Applied Behavior Analysis from the University of Saint Joseph in 2015. She has been a Board Certified Behavior Analyst since August 2016 and a Licensed Behavior Analyst in Connecticut. Emily has worked with individuals of all ages in various settings and with various disabilities and diagnoses. Early in her career, Emily worked in a group home for adults with Pervasive Developmental Disorder (PDD) and co-occurring mental health disorders, particularly schizophrenia, where she was first introduced to the field of behavior analysis. She later worked in group homes with adults with intellectual disabilities while pursuing her master’s degree. Emily has also worked in public schools with children on the autism spectrum and those identified as emotionally disturbed. Additionally, she has provided in-home services for families with children with autism and has worked with young children in the Birth-to-Three program.
Emily aims to help children develop the skills to be independent and functional and to build meaningful social relationships with friends and family. In her free time, Emily enjoys hiking with her yellow Labrador retriever, Fenway, gardening, crocheting, and spending time with loved ones.
