Meet Sarah

Sarah Atkins began her career at Strong Foundations in the summer of 2021 and received her RBT credentials in February 2022. She is currently an ABA First Grade Instructor and actively pursuing her Connecticut Teachers Certification in Special Education.

Before working at Strong Foundations, Sarah worked as a Paraprofessional within a neighboring Public School district, working with students ages 7 to 12 in Special Education and Behavioral classroom settings. Since her experience at Strong Foundations, she has discovered her passion for teaching. She is excited to continue her personal and professional development by expanding her knowledge of Special Education and the ABA field to further enable her to support children diagnosed with autism effectively.

Outside work, Sarah enjoys spending time outdoors with friends, discovering new places, particularly new restaurants, and trying different cuisines. She holds a special place in her heart for animals, particularly her dog Bo and cat Nala!
